Techleap Unveils New Cohort for Rise Program to Boost Dutch Tech Innovation

Netherlands, Wednesday, 16 April 2025.
Techleap has chosen nine scale-ups for its Rise growth program, focusing on fintech, cybersecurity, and travel tech, with 70% revenue generated internationally.
Impressive Growth Metrics
The selected scale-ups demonstrate remarkable economic impact, with an average of 204 employees per company and a combined annual revenue exceeding €210 million. These companies have secured substantial financial backing, with average funding reaching €37 million [1][4]. A notable aspect of this cohort is its diversity in leadership, with six of the nine teams being co-led by women, while two companies achieved growth without external investment [4].
Program Structure and Impact
The Rise program, now in its fifteenth batch, offers an intensive eight-week curriculum designed to address crucial growth challenges. Participants receive guidance from experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and fellow founders [1]. Since its inception, the program has supported over 300 companies, helping them raise hundreds of millions in capital for market expansion [4]. Dylan Richts, Head of Community at Techleap, emphasizes that these entrepreneurs exemplify Dutch tech excellence globally, combining innovation with tangible economic impact [1].
Selected Companies and Their Specializations
The cohort represents diverse technological sectors. Amsterdam-based Bitvavo has established itself as one of Europe’s largest crypto platforms, while Datamaran, headquartered in London, provides ESG software for international risk management. The Hague-based Eye Security focuses on SME cybersecurity solutions, and Fourthline delivers AI-driven KYC compliance tools. The group also includes Hadrian and Oneleet in the cybersecurity sector, TicketSwap in event ticket marketplace, Vio.com in hotel price comparison, and WeTravel in group travel management [4].
Future Outlook
As part of the broader Dutch tech ecosystem development, these scale-ups will participate in various growth initiatives. The program coincides with significant developments in the Dutch tech sector, including the upcoming AWS Founders Circle event on April 29, 2025, which will address the state of Dutch tech and funding opportunities [6]. This timing positions the Rise program participants to benefit from the expanding network of resources and opportunities within the Netherlands’ growing tech landscape [3].
