The Hague, Wednesday, 24 September 2025.
The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies launches the 8th Indo-Dutch Cyber Security School, running online from October 6 to November 7, 2025, focusing on enhancing cybersecurity skills in India and the Netherlands.

Course Details and Objectives

The Indo-Dutch Cyber Security School (IDCSS25), organized by The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies (HCSS), is now open for registration. This annual five-week online course is tailored for students and young to mid-career professionals from India and the Netherlands who are interested in cybersecurity. Taking place from October 6 to November 7, 2025, the course aims to provide participants with the necessary skills to tackle the growing digital threats facing both countries [1][2].

Partnerships and Collaborations

This year’s edition of IDCSS is marked by a new collaboration with Cyber People and BlockVerse Institute. These organizations will assist in bridging the gap between cybersecurity education and industry demand by identifying top-performing students and equipping them with job-ready skills. Selected students will have the opportunity to participate in a three-month, part-time training program after the course, aligning their skills with current industry needs [1].

Eligibility and Registration

To be eligible for placement support, students must complete both the lecture and action learning module, as well as the challenge module of IDCSS, earning Certificates of Attendance and Participation. Following the program, Cyber People and BlockVerse Institute will guide eligible graduates toward relevant career opportunities in the cybersecurity industry. Registration for the program has begun, with discounts available for non-Indian participants [2][3].

Significance and Future Prospects

The IDCSS initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance cybersecurity collaboration between the Netherlands and India. By equipping participants with cutting-edge skills and fostering international cooperation, the program aims to address the global demand for skilled cybersecurity professionals. The school represents a significant step in strengthening bilateral ties and enhancing digital resilience in both nations [1][3].
