Overijssel Launches Subsidy for Agricultural Innovation Projects
Starting June 5, Overijssel will offer subsidies for innovative agricultural collaborations, aiming to promote sustainable farming practices under the European Innovation Partnership.

The subsidy, titled ‘Samenwerken aan innovatie’ (Collaborating on Innovation), is designed to foster partnerships between farmers and knowledge institutions. Entrepreneurs with innovative ideas in the agricultural sector can apply for funding until September 30, 2024. The initiative aims to encourage projects that enhance farming methods, products, or services contributing to sustainable and future-proof agriculture in Overijssel.

This initiative is part of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), with a total budget of €3.3 million. Of this, €1.4 million is sourced from European funds, while €1.9 million is contributed by the province of Overijssel.
